Canon EOS 5D MKII

This is the camera we used on the Five USA shoot. We had 3 bodies plus a host of lenses giving us complete flexibility to move around and get the visceral, upfront and personal footage you see in the idents. The quality of the image from this camera is truly amazing – especially at night.

While attending Design Yatra in Kuala Lumpur we had the chance to view the Petronas Towers.

Design Yatra 2008 took place in Kuala Lumpur. We flew in for a short visit as one of the speakers in a line up that included Neville Brody, Wally Olins, Andy Altmann, Vince Frost. The crowd seemed to like what we had to say and they all seemed to want to talk.

American Football

A highlight of the US trip was shooting College Football players in the Miami Dolphins stadium.

Cop Car

While shooting in the US we got to play with our very own NYPD cop car. We were shooting in and outside of Montero’s – a classic italian bar in Brooklyn.

Filming for Five USA

We’re just back from a lengthy shoot for our rebrand of Five USA. We spent 2 weeks covering over 60 locations in 4 cities – Miami, New York, Los Angeles and Las Vegas. It was a visceral, full on experience and we captured some incredible high def footage. Now we have a few weeks of intense editing to bring our vision for the channel to life.

We’ve just bought a new directors viewfinder and there is much joy in the studio as we are about to head off on our shoot for Five USA.

Five Signage

The Five head office in Long Acre has just been fitted with our brand spanking new logo. Inside the interiors have been decked out with the new livery and screens in reception feature a brand film showing the new look.
