Think! Road Safety Campaign

We worked with the Department of Transport and MTV on a ground-breaking road safety campaign. We ran a competition inviting 12-16 year olds to write their own road safety TV ad for THINK!
Campaign As part of the overall concept 18 competition finalists were invited to the Transport Research Laboratory to take part in a Road safety Forum and compete for the right to have their ad made for real.

These were judged by a panel of industry experts and 3 were chosen to be made for real.

We produced and directed the 3 winning spots and after online voting the final winner was played out nationally.

TV Show Hosted by MTV presenter Emma Griffith, the teams were filmed as they debated road safety issues and discussed how they would tackle the issues differently. The teams then broke out into 6 groups to compete head to head and brainstorm their ideas before presenting to a panel of industry professionals who judged the work.

The whole day was condensed into a mini TV programme and ran across full ad junctions.
