TMF Channel Rebrand

We were asked to give some TLC to this sister channel to MTV and Vh1. We designed a unique, playful and witty family of organic shapes and gave them all personality. At times languid and chilled and at others spiky and confident. They populate the channel and provide bits of info, gossip and make up menus, bumpers and brand idents.

Morphing The shapes that underpin the channel navigation system morph and change colour over time.
Idents The idents and channel were imbued with shape-shifting characters. They were given personalities and then animated by hand in time honoured tradition to give them a uniquely organic and analogue feel.
TMF Idents Part 1
TMF Idents Part 1 Working with Cyril Houplain at Nexus we created a series of idents which brought our amoebic characters to life. They dance and bounce around the screen revealing moments of clarity before becoming abstract once more.

Navigation The typography was intentionally bold with a conversational cut and paste aesthetic. The shapes appear and deliver the info before mooching off again.
