We took the controversial spirit of Russia’s most important and influential newspaper and translated it into a new brand that reinvents the presentation of TV news. As part of the full channel package we directed a series of brand and news topic idents expressing the bold, provocative and lateral view the news channel takes. Additionally we developed the information graphics and a fully integrated experience with seamless connection between on air and website and mobile devices.

New logo for a new channel. We designed the new logo for the channel inspired by the Russian ‘hard sign’ used at the end of the Kommersant name in print. This is a silent ‘phonetic sound’ which gives a forceful, definite meaning to a word.
